You have duties under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 to arrange maintenance by a Gas Safe Registered engineer for all pipe work, appliances and flues, which you own and have provided for your tenants use. You must also arrange for an annual gas safety check to be carried out every 12 months by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
First of all it is illegal to use a gas appliance if its deemed to be unsafe. Turn the gas appliance off and do not touch it until a Gas Safe Registered Engineer has checked it. Anyone who is employed to work with gas appliances in a domestic property must be a Gas Safe Registered Engineer and proficient in the area of gas work.

Great service from Mark yesterday! We were super impressed with how quick he was able to get out to us and fix the problem. Our boiler stopped working a month or so ago and after someone let us down, we rang Mark and he was around the next day fixing it there and then. Very reasonably priced and would defo recommend!

I was wary initially of calling out a plumber I didn't know, but my fears were allayed when Mark arrived to sort out our boiler problem. He was friendly, professional, clear on prices and charged what he said he would, clearing up behind himself as he went. I would highly recommend Mark Cameron Heating & Boiler Repair and he is now definitely my go-to boiler repair man :)
