Forestrall Timber and Fencing Merchants is an independent, privately owned timber and fencing merchant based in Gillingham, Kent. We are your local timber product expert with a huge stock range and extensive network of timber trade contacts. As an independent company, we offer flexibility, attention to detail and high level of customer service that many national companies can't match.
Having recently lost my father in law who was a fan of BBQing and having an ale in the sun we decided to redo the decking by the lake, decking that he and I had laid 15 years ago. During this process there were many phone calls to suppliers of decking and joists including Forestrall. What set Forestrall apart from all the others was the customer service.
Forestrall Ltd is an independent Timber Merchant that purchases and sells Softwood, Hardwood and Sheet Materials. The company has implemented a Chain of Custody procedure to ensure compliance with both the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC TM).

I can't fault Forestrall, I ordered some timber online early in the morning one evening, the next morning it was delivered to my doorstep. A couple of days later I noticed an issue with said timber (unfortunately after I had cut it to size) and within hours and on the same day I rang, they were at my doorstep with timber to replace all of it. Unfortunately one of the pieces had a similar issue but it was graciously taken away with a promise of a replacement. Top marks and way above and beyond what I would normally expect.

Forestrall supplied all the timber for a large area of decking measuring 9m by 7m. The quality and price of the timber was extremely good and was delivered promptly to site. I now use them for all of my requirements. We used oversized boards which are slightly thicker than scaffold boards and have held their shape without bowing extremely well throughout the winter. The deck is strong enough to park a tank on!
