Simeon Balsam FDSC, ND, is the founder of The Tree Expert having a vast knowlege of the industry. He ensures smooth running of all operation and decision making within the company. Useing his vast climbing skills and knowlege the tree expert is contracted by other companies to help with high risk work, and to gain work quality accreditations.
Today the term 'arboriculture' has become more recognised as an industry that has needed to become an individual sector found in many councils and large contractor departments within the UK. Arboriculture evolved from landscape designers and is now a worldwide profession- John E. Kuser (2007). An arboriculturalist is not a tree surgeon even though the terms are closely related.
I think the real underlined reason for planting trees or 'green infrastructure' into an urban or rural environment goes back to the origins of man. If we believe in the creation theory or believe in evolution, Man was both born and raised in forests, trees, nature. Really this desire for natural greenery is imprinted in all of us.

Your insurer may need a tree survey to investigate tree related subsidence or to assess the condition and safety of your trees. I run my own gardening and tree surgery business and for all my large tree work I bring in Simeon and The Tree Expert crew. Friendly and experienced team, very efficient and completely honest. Took on a huge domestic job for me - over 30 trees - and tackled it with ease, also provided some really good advice. Note to future employers - keep these guys well watered!! I've never seen someone so thankful for a drink, and they work very hard. Make sure you leave your name / number with them for a call back, it's worth the wait.

I have worked with the tree expert on several occasions and have seen first hand how he works. He is a brilliant tree surgeon and his work is precise and carful but by no means slow.
