After being a journeyman for the best part of a decade, Sebastien David founded Stone Art Cotswold in 2010. Sebastien learnt his skills by moving from site to site and being taught by different Masters - as is the tradition in France.
He has worked on many prestigious projects around the world and brings this experience and expertise to his work today. Sebastien and his team created and built a beautiful stone doorway entrance. It had to be in keeping with the rest of the Gothic Revival Victorian Rectory. The work was done to the highest standard. We could trust Sebastien to realise our vision and he surpassed it, using his immense experience from wirking both in Britain and France. We love his work! You cannot hope for better!

Sebastien carried out repairs on 2 chimney stacks and a stone mullioned bay window in my converted Georgian apartment over the course of 2 weeks. He preserved and stabilized both projects by adding cut stone and working with the existing stonework. I would highly recommend him because of his knowledge and craftsmanship. He also kept me regularly updated on his progress and I certainly will be using him for any further stone restorations that are required. Thanks Sebastien, good work!
