The primary job of a chimney sweep is to aid in the prevention of chimney fires and reduce the risk of dangerous fume emissions from blocked heating applications, flueways and chimneys. Areas of concern must be dealt with as a matter of urgency and soot from coal, wood, oil and gas fired systems must be eliminated as well as obstructions such as birds nests etc, removed.
Its the home owners responsability to maintain their chimneys, please make sure you have the correct terminals fitted and understand that we HAVE to touch them with our brushes, we take no responsabilty if they fall off as they need to withstand being swept.

We cover a large area in Wiltshire & Hampshire mainly around Salisbury and we offer a friendly professional service. With chimneys today being pretty much a "lost art" due to fires not as widely used over the last few decades, we're here not only sweeping chimneys but to advise and educate the customer to keep them safe.
Please Note: The above inserts A>F are suitable for ventilation only. They are not suitable for any appliance including Gas, Solid fuel [Wood/Coal/Peat, ETC] or Oil. List itemG is a capping off insert and does not provide any ventilation. If you have any of these inserts on top of your chimney stack it must be removed before using the chimney.

Many thanks Simon. Turned up on time for our first sweep since moving in. Not only swept both chimneys, but also gave us novices a run down on the best way of operating the wood burning stoves. We will find out if we passed our first test when Simon next visits in January.

Just had Simon from Vacuum Sweep around to service my log burner on the recommendation of a friend. Not only has Simon done a first rate job he's also extremely knowledgeable and gave me loads of good tips on how to get the most out of the fire. I cannot rate Simon and Vacuum Sweep highly enough and I'll certainly be calling them again for my next service.

We moved into a new house with a log burner, and after some advice we called a chimney sweep, just in case. The team were brilliant and managed to find me a spot before christmas.
The actual professional that turned up was superb, a really really nice guy who obvisouly cares a lot about his work and making sure customers are happy. We had a great chat, and I learnt a lot about my new fire, what's best for it, etc.
What made this really important is they pointed out that we needed some critical work doing to make us safe, explained it all in an informative (not sales pushy way), and left me feeling

Very pleased with my chimney sweep today. Simon gave me some very helpful advice on how to get the best out of my woodburner to avoid problems in the long run.
