Standard sweeps start from 50 including a smoke test and Tim will issue a professional ICS certificate recognised by all insurance companies. We now use the modern method of power sweeping which achieves a cleaner and more efficient sweep than using a traditional brush. It is very important to have your chimneys swept regularly (at least annually) to remove soot and other debris.

Anyone can set themselves up as a chimney sweep. If you choose an unregistered sweep, you are unlikely to be able to claim on your insurance for any damage caused by a chimney fire. After sweeping your chimney, an ICS chimney sweep will issue you with a certificate, recognised by all leading insurance companies.

We have had chimney sweeps at our different homes and Tim is absolutely the best we have experienced. So knowledgeable about everything and explains what goes on. Even does extras if he sees something else is amiss. You can tell he is really passionate about his work. Great job done and look forward to having him back next time.
