Penetrating Dampness are three of the most common dampness problems and without accurate diagnosis inappropriate treatments may result in needless expenditure. It is therefore important that a survey is carried out by a qualified and widely experienced Surveyor, to diagnose the cause of dampness and prepare a detailed treatment specification.
The most common fungal decay problems are Wet and Dry Rots and correct diagnosis is essential. True Dry Rot (Serpula lacrymans) is the more aggressive fungus and failure to identify and effectively treat can result in extensive damage. Less aggressive however requires attention and identification of the source of moisture to enable an effective treatment.
Both Theresa and I were overwhelmed when we returned from holiday and I know from our neighbours how much effort was put in during the two weeks. Feel free to use this letter as a testimonial for your work and don't hesitate to contact us if anybody requires a reference. I'd like to send you all a very "Big Thank You" for the excellent work you did at my home.
