A10 Timber

A10 Timber Co is a family owned and run business which operates from our 5 acre site in Barwick, just north of Ware on the A10. For 45 years we have been successfully supplying timber and sheet material to the local building industry. Our reputation for excellent service and high quality stock has enabled us to grow and successfully diversify into other areas whilst constantly improving and expanding the core business.

We are here to help whatever size your project so please contact us to find out what we can do for you. Originally founded 45 years ago, the company began as L A Packing. Primarily serving what was the UK's booming export market at the time, L A Packing manufactured wooden crates and pallets in bulk quantaties to all over the UK.

As the business grew over the years, the yard increased in size to accommodate the masses of timber required. It was a natural move to begin selling timber to the trade and eventually A10 Timber was founded as a sister company to L A Packing. Whilst L A Packing still operates successfully from the same factory it was founded in, A10 has moved on leaps and bounds to become one of Hertfordshires Premier Timber Merchants.
