But with ever changing trends and demands in window furnishings, something else was needed, and so Rossendale Curtains & Blinds was born, later becoming the now more familiar Rossendale Blinds, we pride ourselves on the personal touch and all the curtains were made and fitted by ourselves, and with a young family of five daughters, we decided to streamline the business and concentrate on the made to measure window blinds, which has proved to be a very good decision as we are still thriving today, almost 20 years have passed (our girls have all grown up!).

Very poor aftercare service, we took accurate measurements into the shop in metres which the manager converted into inches incorrectly. We realised once fitting that 3m28cm had been written down by the shop as 3028 mm leaving the blind too short. We called the shop to discuss to be told we had signed the order and that she wasn't a blind measurer! We asked how we move forward to resolve to be told if we paid another £120 she would be happy to replace. Bearing in mind the cost originally was £140. You enter a shop expecting them to be capable of knowing measurements ...... clearly not in this
