The Spectrum Electrical Group is one of the most successful electrical contracting companies operating in the south west of England and, increasingly, throughout the UK and overseas. We specialise in the design and installation of turnkey electrical building services and structured cabling together with fibre optics for most data and communication systems.
Spectrum were selected as the Design and Build Electrical Services Contractor for the Screwfix flagship modern telephone contact centre. From prestigious private houses through new build primary schools to churches, office blocks, factories, call centres and retail outlets, and that's just in the UK.
We also work overseas, with recent and on-going contracts in Mainland Europe, Cyprus, the Far East and the Falkland Islands. Spectrum offers a general electrical contracting service to clients of all sizes and every industry. We can act as consultants, work from client concept to competed drawings, or contribute to a project based design team.

Services
Our electrical contracting division is NICEIC and ECA registered, our data networking division is an accredited 'Brand Rex' installer and our renewable technologies division holds MCS accreditation. Throughout our 30 plus years in business we have been determined to be excellent at everything we do.
As electrical contractors we recognise only too clearly the importance of renewable energy and the fact that a simple 3kWp system can generate around 40% of an average household's yearly electricity needs, at the same time saving around one tonne of CO2 per annum and attracting income from the Government's Feed-In Tariff Scheme.
Electric or hybrid cars are another, and rapidly growing, use for renewable energy. We are installers of POD Point electric car charging units for both domestic and commercial POD Point systems, commercial in this case meaning pay-to-use. With electric cars costing as little as 2p per mile to run, the future is electric.
