Chimney sweep for all types of wood burners, stoves and fireplaces in Reading, Wokingham, Henley, Maidenhead and surrounding areas of Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire. On completion of work a NACS chimney sweep completes safety checks and issues a Certificate of Chimney Sweeping to be signed by the customer and also recommends when future cleaning is necessary.
As a NACS Chimney Sweep I have undertaken a rigorous training course and successfully completed a full assessment prior to becoming a NACS Chimney Sweep Member. All NACS Chimney Sweep Members must hold valid Public Liability insurance as a Chimney Sweep, of which they provide a copy of to the Association on an annual basis.
They must also have the correct equipment to be able to undertake the job which is checked at the time of their assessment. As a NACS chimney sweep we work strictly to the NACS Code of Practice 1982 and Code of Conduct for the cleaning of chimneys. This involves using 'walk in' sheets and hearth sheets to cover your surfaces before sweeping commences.

Prices start from 60 with a 10% discount for multiple sweeps or if you can book with your neighbours. Additional charge for birds nest removal. I will reply within 24 hours. Paul has just swept our chimney the third year running, and he always does an excellent job - the carpets are sheeted from the door to the chimney, cleaning is efficient, he tests the CO alarm and does a smoke test in our wood burner and everything is left clean afterwards. Paul is very friendly and talkative also and his price is extremely reasonable. Would 100% recommend.

I engaged Paul to sweep the flue of my wood-burning stove. He arrived on time, was pleasant to meet and did a thoroughly good job. He seemed to have all the necessary equipment, explained the procedure he would be following, and performed a quick clean sweep. He ensured that the whole area was clean before leaving. Will use again and would recommend.
