After qualifying in Plastering, Carpentry and Brickwork Rhys took his passion for building and went on to work for a period property specialist where he gained many more skills. At the age of 21 he decided to start his own company building Cart Lodges and continuing to gain an array of knowledge for building and a high standard of craftsmanship.
By 2019 Rhys had built over 40 Cart Lodges, a number of extensions, barn conversions and other general work such as driveways and landscaping. Amy Best, Rhys' wife is always on the end of the phone or contactable via email for any queries. Amy deals with all the company's accounts and will handle your initial enquiry to arrange site visits and can advise on planning.

Services
Each cart lodge is designed to your specification and each of our projects is unique. Also sheltered parking for cars, garden machinery or extra space for your favourite hobby. On all of our Cart Lodges we go the extra mile to be in keeping with the property's surroundings. With period properties we often use reclaimed bricks and roof tiles so a new building can co-exist with the existing property without standing out.
We have been successfully designing and getting approved Cart Lodges through planning permission from the beginning. Each build requiring building regulations will receive a completion certificate from their local council's Building Regulations Department. We have lots of experience of the planning requirements for outbuildings and have worked with many of the local planning departments.
Rhys filled in an external door for us matching the bricks perfectly, you couldn't tell there was a door there now. Also repaired our roof to a high standard. Really friendly and polite, would definitely recommend. Rhys and his team built a cartlodge to the very highest of standards, with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Rhys and his team have recently built an extensive 2 story front extension to our family home, and we couldn't be happier with the work they have carried out. The extension comprised of a new kitchen, as well as an en-suite and bedroom being added. Rhys and his team were professional throughout and very considerate of not only us and our 2 young children, but also our neighbours. The work completed was to an extremely high standard and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rhys and his team to our family and friends.

Rhys and his team have just completed a cart lodge, home office and some hard landscaping. The work took 3 months to complete and was undertaken during some very cold and wet weather. The team worked hard and turned up everyday regardless of the weather. The final result was outstanding and we are very pleased with the quality and would not hesitate to recommend Rhys and his team. Rhys has just completed an amazing job on our kitchen/diner. He has completed transformed the downstairs of our house by removing a partition wall, fitting a new kitchen and decorating - we couldn't be happier with the job he and his team have done. From the outset, Rhy was extremely helpful, very creative, contributing great ideas in the early stages of the project. Whilst he was undertaking the work he kept us up to date with his progress and worked extremely hard. Rhys and his team completed the work in less than three and a half weeks, which was amazing.
