Services
As well as supplying your timber requirements we also proved a sawing service. We can cut down timber to different sizes or even cut round timber into planks, beams or slats. We also offer a planing service for that finished look. We source quality products and our aim is always to offer good quality products at competitive prices.
We can supply seasoned/weathered oak beams, as well as fresh sawn/green beams in a variety of sizes. The beams can be used for roof supports in barn conversions and for many other oak building projects. Best suited for structural use externally as you will experience some movement as the timber dries.
All our oak fireplace mantels are unique in appearance and are available with differing options and finishes from Waxed, planed, sanded and bead blasted. We can produce a made to measure rustic mantle, aged mantle, live edged mantle and wavey edged mantle. These can offer a character, unusual and contemporary look for your home.
Though CNC machines are used, all the frames are assembled traditionally, using mortise and tenon joints with wooden pegs. It is part of the nature of green oak to split, bend and shrink whilst drying out. The design and the selection of timber cope with this specificity to ensure that the structural properties of the building will be guaranteed.

Always a wide selection of live edge, planed and pretty much any hardwood you could possibly want. If Robin hasn't got it he can always get hold of it.
