Services
Sash Windows enhance the charm and character of any period home. Often referred to as a "Georgian Window", this timeless style is exceptionally designed and made to be serviced and repaired. Because of it's innovitive box design, the sashes are less susceptible to distortion and rot than a hinged casement which means they have a greater life span than other styles.
Traditional casement windows are commonly seen in older properties, listed buildings and in conservation areas. At Frame-ups, we are able to manufacture new casement windows to match your existing windows. This can be done in either single-glazed - similar to that required on listed buildings or conservation areas - or double-glazed units, which are more energy efficient and comply with current building regulations.
While we can supply your windows with either single or double glazed panes, double glazing is preferred for new builds and all replacement windows which are not restricted by conservation regulations. All of our double glazed units meet or exceed energy efficiency building regulations for the UK and are available in a range of sizes and depths to fit your particular needs.
We are able to replicate most timber doors using the ThermoTech tooling system. All our doors are made from 55mm thick solid timber section to allow for a 4-16-4 double glazed unit which complies with current building regulation/Fensa requirements. For added security we use a multi-point locking mechanism design.
Multi-point locking systems come in a variety of designs but essentially they are systems designed to bolt a door or window casement into its frame and lock at multiple points at the turn of a key, giving a high level of security. They are used as standard in most modern built houses where the developer is using UPVC and composite windows and doors.

Highly highly recommend Frame Ups! We needed all the windows in our house replacing and wanted timber as it's a beautiful old house. We got three quotes and Frame Ups were far and away the best price. We also loved that you could go and see where the windows are made and see the craftsmanship. The installation process was very smooth and the windows look perfect. We have had so many compliments from our neighbours about them! We are delighted with the result, thank you to all at Frame Ups!

James is a great guy, he gave real consideration in replacing my tired old windows.
Prompt and reliable, clean and no mess.
All I can say is ‘what a fantastic job’
The finished look is above and beyond all my expectations.
Very pleased indeed and will certainly be recommending to friends and family.

Frame ups have just fitted a combination of refurbished sash, new sash and a mock sash windows for us and we are so happy with the work. We wanted to keep the character of our Victorian windows but have a less draughty house, and the finished result is even better than we hoped for.
From start to finish they have been one of the best trade companies we have ever used - helpful, honest and organised with quoting and clean and tidy whilst carrying out the work. I would highly recommend them!
