SJP Builders undertakes all types of house extension and refurbishment / renovation building projects. We are currently undertaking an increasing number of house extensions. A typical example of a house extension project we have recently completed was a single storey extension to a house in Winstanley, Wigan.
SJP Builders specialise in barn conversions. This barn conversion project is in Athersite, Rivington. As can be seen from the images, the barn had been derelict for some time prior to being bought by a local property developer. This home renovation required a complete rip out, followed by a full electrical re-wire, replacement plumbing, pipework, boiler and bathroom suite.
We do more than simply the 'hands on' work, we liaise with Building Control and Inspection, taking all the hassle away from you. Many people are surprised at the amount of work required to convert a garage to the standard that we - and Building Control - are happy with. A well converted garage can add significantly to the value of your property.
SJP Building Services fit only the best quality composite doors on the market. Our doors offer maximum security protection for your home as well as making the neighbours envious of their classy appearance. Their beautiful rich finish is robust and very hard warring but still retains the great traditional looks of a timber door, with a fraction of the maintenance and upkeep.
Externally, all windows, doors, fascias and soffits were replaced and a conservatory, complete with tiled roof, built on. The kitchen took 4 weeks to complete. To develop the kitchen design, Simon sat down with the clients and plucked the ideas from their heads then dropped them on to a drawing. The final outcome was a highly attractive and really original kitchen, created to the client's bespoke specification.
