Booked to clean chimney at the end of October. When the operative arrived he attempted, totally unnecessarily, to access our narrow drive ripping limbs of a willow tree and pulling down and destroying garden lighting with his roof rack. He only had to walk 25 yards from a safe parking area to our front door with his vacuum and rods. We have attempted to contact the company several times regarding this matter and their intention to address the damage they have caused but no response to date. Looks like a "sweep it under the carpet" outfit. Will be going elsewhere for Chimney sweeping services in

Very efficient. Phoned the day before to confirm time they would be coming and they came on time. Very swift professional service and both rooms left clean and tidy. Used them a few times now and will continue to do so.

They did not show up for the appointment and did not contact us with a reason or apology. We wasted a whole day waiting for them and called them 5 times with no response. Will not be using again and have taken our business elsewhere.

Post wood burner installation customer service is diabolical. Absolutely shocking customer service - I used numerous phones to try and contact them. They do not answer or return your messages, text or telephone calls. Do not entertain them - they will install your wood burner, take your money and disappear. One star is too god for this company - you have been warned. Please avoid using this company at all cost!

Exceptionally bad service. Did not turn up for appointment. Minimal and dis-interested contact before said appointment. Neither their main nor mobile phone was answered when trying to chase them up, nor was there any response to emails. They answered the phone to my partner as she was ringing from a different number and for two days in a row they told her they would look in to it and call back, but they never did.

We've used Roy & Chris Mears for many years and have always been polite, professional and provided a cost effective and considerate Chimney Sweeping service. They are extremely knowledgable and offer a wide range of additional services, including cowl fitting, vac & brush, fitting air vents, carbon monoxide alarms and servicing all types of solid fuel (wood/coal/multi-fuel) stoves, burners etc. Chris has invested significantly in the business and appointments can now be booked online via their website. I recommend them without hesitation.
