The client's brief was far from simple; to "create a space which looks like a Ferrari but functions as commercial commodities business". The space consisted of 2,800 m on two floors in Devonshire Square, formed from a former warehouse. A 1,115 m office on the fourth floor of the Grade II* listed buildings of 12 St James's Square, attributed to Thomas Cubitt in 1836 and 11 St James's Square, 1736.
Bauencorp created a contemporary luxury store for Longchamp on Regent Street within a classical style Grade II listed building. Bauencorp worked closely with the client team and the Crown Estate to develop one of the largest retail spaces on Regent Street amalgamating various historic demises to create one large harmonious store.
