Defined as 'insulation by means of a second pane of glass, or a sheet of plastic: a simple form of double glazing'. You can improve insulation in your home with various types of secondary glazing. Firstly, there is metal casing, where a metal frame is fixed to your existing window frame with a pane of glass within.

We needed to find a way of improving insulation and reducing condensation on our single-glazed windows (we live in a listed building so upgrading the windows wasn't an option). Using Ecoease glazing looked like a cost effective solution, so we ordered panes for just two windows so start with. We were impressed, so we went ahead and bought Ecoease glazing for several more single glazed windows, and we're really pleased with the result - we can actually see out of the windows on cold mornings, the house is warmer and we have improved the sound insulation! Secondary glazing obviously isn't as smart

I can heartily recommend Ecoease if you're looking for a good quality and good value way of adding secondary glazing to your home. We live in a conservation area in an older property and our windows are not all standard sizes. The glazing is very discreet and looks the part. The house is warmer and there is no condensation!

I have recently purchased my secondary glazing from Ecoease, after not knowing how to measure up the customer service was more than helpful and patient with me.
I now have the glazing in place, it fits perfect and the product has worked better than i expected the condensation has completely gone and what i didn't expect was the massive improvement in noise reduction from the traffic outside.

Terrible company. Steer well clear. Dreadful customer service. Poor quality product. Looks very cheap and nasty when up. Very obviously cheap Perspex. The frame also cheap quality and prone to bending and buckling. Really not a cost effective or attractive solution at all.
Company also would not accept responsibility for a HUGE scratch that was there on panels arrival so we’re also left with a scratched pane too. Could not be more unhappy. Please don’t waste your money like we have.
