We have lived close to Econoloft for many years and we finally decided to extend into the loft. They were our only choice of whom we would like to use. We did get other quotes but our minds were pretty much made up.
What a great thing we did. From start to finish we were looked after and we now have a 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom. Older sons now have their own space with some peace and quiet.
We must also mention Slawak too. He was such a lovely builder, couldn't say no when asked to do some extra little bits. The process was much easier then originally thought or we may have done it

We contacted Econoloft in January 2020 and were pleased to meet Danny who explained what they could do to convert our large loft space to provide two bedrooms. No pressure which we liked and time to consider. Accepted and soon Lee the surveyor called, made good suggestions and again no pressure. Econoloft provide all the materials paid for in lump sum, customer is responsible for planning application, building inspector (who they appoint) and all ancillary costs. We are extremely happy with our Econoloft loft conversion. After doing some research and asking for recommendations, I requested a specific joiner, and that was no problem at all. The admin side of the process was very good and we paid step by step in instalments. The final product is of exceptional quality. The new stair case is beautifully done… and the ceiling is high which was something I specifically requested. The joinery and finish is exceptional. I was worried as my sister had recently been swindled by her builder. I’m so glad that we chose Econoloft.

We used Econoloft for our loft conversion, which we absolutely love. It's the best thing we ever did and we live up there now! As with any addition to your property there were issues, mainly unexpected costs which you would always get in building work, but they were addressed and discussed as they arose. We had a wonderful joiner, who did a brilliant job with his crew. The Econoloft tiler did an exceptional job on the bathroom tiling and we've recommended him several times to other people. We chose Econoloft after watching their YouTube video and reading reviews . We were really impressed by the way they supply their own tradesmen from start to finish meaning we didn`t have the hassle of arranging different trades ourselves. We started our loft in June 2020 as soon as the full lock-down was eased . All the contractors they used and… the lead Carpenter were really good and done a great job . Things did take slightly longer because of the Covid situation ( but that was to be expected ) however we was always kept up-to-date with any delays by our lead Carpenter and the girls

Had a rear dormer with en-suite completed with Econoloft recently.
Really happy with the finish and service thought-out. The build speed was really impressive considering the covid restrictions that had been put in place for safety.
The office have been in contact through keeping me updated when needed and have been great when I have had any queries.

We got a dormer loft conversion (without en suite) to add an extra bedroom and make some other changes on the first floor (take out fireplace and create landing space). Econoloft were great from start to finish. The team at the office have been really quick to respond, the builders were very accommodating as we made a few changes during the build and we are really happy with the overall finish!

I have no problem whatsoever recommending Econoloft for a loft conversion. My husband first learned about the company from another local loft conversion that was going on and spoke to the homeowner, who only had good words to say about them. We decided to get a quote and our rep was Paul Tibbert who went into great detail about everything and… explained that they could handle the process from start to finish. After they botched our loft conversion a few years ago, leaving us with multiple issues and even damage - we are still trying to get Econoloft to fix these issues. They do not care, they have ignored our emails & phone calls and have not come and fixed the issue. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I would appreciate a response from you Econoloft! We are still under warranty so I encourage you to stick to that agreement or I will be taking this far far further than you wish me to. Do the right thing and respond to your customers!

We would highly recommend Econoloft as they completed our loft conversion. What I liked was that they dealt with the whole thing from start to finish, including the plans and planning permission. For the first 3 weeks we hardly knew they were there as most of the work was accessed from outside. The builders were so respectful to my family &… house, they tidied up every evening & kept us informed throughout the whole process. We now have a wonderful, useful large room which is used as an office & gym. We also managed to get a snug room as well which could be used as a dressing

We were initially impressed by the speedy and efficient ordering process and construction but then experienced huge problems. First the bulbs in the bedroom ceiling lights kept blowing, followed by a brown mark appearing in the ceiling. Our neighbour who is an electrician said it was probably faulty wiring. The Econoloft electrician came and denied… that could be possible, instead trying to pass it off as a faulty light fixture but just before leaving without doing anything, he decided to poke a hole in the brown spot and found it was faulty wiring. I was apprehensive about the project and the team at econoloft were really great throughout the process. The building team worked like demons and as i was onsite often during the day they were able to suggest a lot of improvements to my build that i hadn't thought of and I was able to make changes as i went. The plumber and electrician were great too. The team in the office were very supportive and were always helpful on the phone. Our build was quicker than we expected and the quality is good - we're really enjoying our new loft space.

Did loft conversion in the last quarter of 2018, outsourced it to Econoloft. They did everything for me right from planning till completion. Very good and professional service throughout. We did have a few problems along the way with one of our neighbours but Econoloft found a solution to progress thankfully.
Econoloft were recommended by my sister & we thought it looked lovely so we called a few companies to get quotes.
We did not decide to use Econoloft just because they were the most competitive but because of the feedback & advise we had been given.
The support team is also excellent, Caroline & the team are always at the end

Verall we had a great experience with Econoloft. We were looking to expand our 3 bedroom semi as we lacked upstairs living space. The whole process from start to finish was pretty painless, not what I was expecting. What we really liked (which was difficult to obtain from other building companies) was that we had a full written quote, detailing every light, socket, window etc. We felt that we were able to stick to our budget without any nasty surprises waiting around the corner. I was recommended Econoloft by a family member after spending considerable time seeking costs for a dormer loft conversion, all of which had come in above our available budget.
Econoloft talked us through our options, and came back with a great price for the job, and instilled us with confidence that they could deliver the job.
The joinery team (who led the job) were helpful throughout and kept us well informed on progress, and overall the project was delivered in budget, on-time and we have been very happy with the quality also.

It is not often that I feel it necessary to write a review but on this occasion I feel it is a must. The decision to undertake a loft conversion in your home is a big one and one that can be very stressful and for this reason I hope my review will help others. For many years I had often past the Econoloft office in West Wickham and had obviously noted their existence should ever I be lucky enough to be seeking such a project for my home (my view of their having an accessible shop front and office locally was very reassuring!). Eventually when the time came they were an obvious choice to investigate

Econoloft took care of every detail of the job from the initial quote to completing the build; layout ideas, detailed drawings and plans, party wall advice and documentation and then the management and delivery of the build itself. The builders were thorough but also worked very hard, ensuring the job was completed within the promised timeframe. We're delighted with our loft conversion. It's given our whole family a little more comfort and space to enjoy our home!

These people did not deserve a single star for their score. We signed a contract with them on a condition they will begin works in 1 month time. We were ensured that they will start, as soon as drawings will be ready. Nothing happened after one month. Nothing happened after drawings were ready. They ignored our e-mails and phone calls. Finally, after all messages we sent, phone calls and two visits in their office, 3 (!) months later they informed us that works at our property will probably start after additional 3 months (!!!) making total waiting time - 6 months or longer. As it was clear violation
