I contacted Lawn Crew just over five weeks ago to rescue my neglected lawns. Mark came out to inspect my garden within a few days and subsequently suggested a restoration programme. The work was carried out by his very professional team and within three weeks I have strong, lush green grass rather than moss, weeds and bare patches!
Mowing is a serious drain on the soil's reserve of major nutrients, nitrogen becomes exhausted quite quickly whereas phosphates and potash will reduce more slowly. Unless reserves are replaced you will find your grass will turn pale, thin and sparse. Chances are that grass is the only plant in your garden that regularly gets walked on like carpet and possibly gets used played on regularly by pets and children.
Moss is a tiny non-flowering plant which, for most, is the worst of all lawn troubles. It is important to realise that moss is a symptom and not a primary cause of a run down lawn, this means that treating moss directly with moss killer isn't enough. The only way to ensure a moss free lawn is to find the cause and deal with it.

Our lawn looked desolate, brown and in one large patch was dead. The lawn crew came when promised, assessed with care and treated it. Nothing seemed different for about 3 weeks and then, like a desert after the rain, it turned a beautiful green. So impressed. Mark and the lawn Crew are not only professional and responsive but all of them highly personable and engaging. Our lawn has made a friend for life.

Our lawn has been struggling to cope with the effects of our female Spaniel creating brown patches for years, and was sparsely covered in other parts, due to sun / shade issues in different parts of the garden.
Mark came over and quickly presented his proposals, which involved a step-by-step approach over the season - scarify / hollow-tine / fertilise / re-seed, which we have now had completed over recent months, such that the treatments can be easily appreciated.
It hasn't been plain sailing, but Mark has persisted and often gone the extra mile, e.g. when man-handling a heavy machine up our

I brought in Mark last spring having had a slight accident in applying fertilizer on my back lawn also the lawn had been going downhill for a couple of years or so. Seeing it now, it does not seem the same lawn.
Mark carried out scarifying, hollow tining, over seeding and applied dressings at the right time and in the right quantities!! It has just had its final winter treatment for the year and will be assessed early next spring for the 2018 treatment. If you have any lawn problems, I would thoroughly recommend Mark for your first 'Port of Call' You will not be disappointed.

Lawn Crew did a great job of overhauling our lawn to remove huge amounts of moss. Various steps were taken, from laying lawn sand, scarifying, seeding preparation, seeding, feeding, etc. 6 weeks later we had lots of new grass growing where all the horrible moss had been. Would recommend lawn crew, very trustworthy and professional.
