As we live in a season climate, a lawn will have varying nutritional needs throughout the year, in addition to controlling weeds and moss, that can't be achieved with one off treatments. We recommend an annual lawn care plan to our customers and, to make this easy, we will advise the best plan for you.
Below are some common questions we are asked. We've broken them down in to three key groups: General, Lawn Treatments and Lawn Care Advice. The purpose of lawn treatments is to improve lawns density, health and appearance, reduce weeds and moss plus improve the soil.
After we've given your lawn the attention it deserves, it's important you spend a little time adding your own dose of care before we next arrive. To help with this we've prepared some simple instructions which you can view below. Please note Lawn Tiger Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for the aftercare or our customers not following the guidance below.
Watering your lawn is essential to keep it healthy and looking good. We recommend watering weekly, between Spring and mid Autumn, to fill a rain gauge or container to 2.5cm (1 inch depth), which is about 1m3 of water. Find out the cost of watering your lawn using our handy tool. Its not as much as you think and for a 100m2 lawn the price of a cup of coffee!

Had front and rear lawns which had seen better days - bald patches, moss and weeds. Contacted Lawn Tiger who visited and advised either reseeding or full removal and turfing. I chose the more economic reseeding which was carried out professionally on the agreed date. Lawn Tiger offer various after care/maintenance packages which I have taken advantage of for the last three years - now have two very green lawns which I am proud to show off!!. Would have no hesitation in recommending Lawn Tiger.

I asked Lawn Tiger to deal with the moss on my lawn about 9 months ago and they have completely transformed the lawn in that time. The lawn started looking great with their regular treatments (green, lush and no weeds), and is now looking super healthy after a renovation in the autumn. I had occasionally used domestic weed & feed products myself but the difference now is massive. They are always quick to answer any questions, and happy to give any advice on mowing or best time for treatments. Really professional local company giving a great service, highly recommended.

When I asked Lawn Tiger to come and rescue my lawn it was in a sorry state after a bad autumn and winter season. I know a lot of people will say "don't worry it'll recover when the better weather arrives" but without the input, advice and work of this company my lawn would not be the picture of health that it is 12 months later. I am more than happy to leave the welfare of my lawn in their hands at what I consider to be a very reasonable month outlay.

I engaged with Lawn Tiger about a Year ago to help improve the large lawns on my property which we had previously only been mowing. In addition to the general lawn care & maintenance programme, Russel and Katie also carried out a complete renovation and re-seeding of our main lawn which had deteriorated over recent years having been completely covered in moss. The results after their hard work have been truly impressive and we are very happy with the improvement to the lawn. Moss and weeds are under control and the area has rejuvenated into a healthy vibrant green lawn. Russel has been a pleasure

Could not be happier with the service I've experienced with Lawn Tiger. It's my first time using a lawn care specialist but the difference after just a couple of months is amazing. Russell was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to spend some time talking through the condition of my soil and grass before applying it's first treatment. He gave some excellent advise on on-going care/maintenance of my lawn to see me through to my next treatment, which has worked brilliantly too.
