GVS Building Solutions can advise on the best render for your building. Taking into account the age of the building, the type of building, the cost and the state of repair of your existing walls. Traditional lime and modern cement render have very different characteristics. Cement render can cause damage to period properties, due to its rigidity.
GVS Building Solutions are experts when it comes to your stone walling requirements. We can build, restore and maintain your traditional stone walls. Our wealth of experience includes both external and internal stone walling, so whether you have a cottage, period building or external area that needs stone work, we have the skills to complement your property.
In 1998, Glyn's company undertook the task of removing all the render from our Grade II listed property and re-rendering with lime render all over. The property was then painted with several coats of coloured lime wash. This work was carried out efficiently, and the quality of the work was outstanding, indeed, the render looks as good today as when it was first applied.

Glyn is very professional and completed a very high quality renovation of our 19th century coach house, he is very honest and reliable. He is meticulous in his planning and has always clearly communicated with us throughout the project, including solving problems that our old building has thrown up. We would highly recommend his services and he is currently back with us to complete further renovations.
