Services
Mike has been with Lee Boyd since 1995. He brings a wealth of experience to the practice, spanning the public and private sectors and a diverse range of projects. He is responsible for the coordination of all technical, contractual and legislative matters in the office and ensures the practice keeps up to date by regularly attending RIBA seminars and accredited courses across the industry.
Our projects in this field of work are nearly always about improving the quality of public realm, whether associated with culture, community or congregation. The practice's diverse range of projects, new build and refurbishment, demonstrates an ability to understand the ever more sophisticated expectations for a public building and the need to understand critical aspects such as flexibility, accessibility and sustainability.
Lee Boyd can offer architectural and masterplanning services in relation to residential accommodation, whether in the realm of social, private or small scale domestic housing. For every project we apply our knowledge and expertise in the field to create attractive and comfortable dwellings that are site specific and highly sustainable, where possible exceeding the current environmental standards.
We have a range of projects currently under design development, being constructed on site or recently completed. Many of our larger projects start with a commission to undertake an options appraisal. This provides an opportunity to test the feasibility of different design solutions, working with the client and design team to establish the preferred approach.
