It is always recommended that a Building Survey or Homebuyer Report is commissioned prior to purchase. Buying a new home is an important investment and can incur a huge financial commitment. Before deciding to go ahead with your purchase, it is a good idea to have an independent, professional Building Survey or Homebuyer Report carried out by a Chartered Surveyor.
Certain building works are notifiable under the Party Wall Act and your neighbours may be entitled to notice prior to commencement of the works. Party wall legislation has been in force in London for over 100 years. However, the 1996 Act replaced the older Acts and extended the legislation to affect the whole of England and Wales.

Our Chartered Surveyors have surveyors who are experienced in the preparation of dilapidation schedules and in concluding any dilapidation negotiations.

From a leaseholders perspective, Stuart Radley are the best I have dealt with. Across the team they are always very professional, quick responding and friendly. They manage the building very well, keeping up to speed with current regulations and have dealt with our section 20 repairs quickly and efficiently.

We were contracted to conduct an impartial roof inspection using our drones and supply the client with a comprehensive report. This report was requested to be reviewed by a RICS surveyor due to the building being grade 2 listed.
We called a few local companies but decided on Stuart Radley due to their knowledge and willingness to support us from our initial scoping phone call.
Graham was assigned to our project to conduct a desktop review of our report once we had compiled it but he furthermore (without request) attended site with our survey team to facilitate introductions and familiarise himself

We gave Stuart Radley Associates a tall order - get a party wall agreement in place with our anxious and elderly neighbour within a week so we could take an unexpected slot our builder gave us after someone backed out of doing work meaning we could start 3 months earlier than planned.
They got ontop of things very quickly, visited 2 days later and we had the agreement 5 days later, all waived by the next door neighbour allowing the work to take place. Super service, and highly recommended.
