The National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) formed in 1982 as a professional Trade Association, promoting high standards for the sweeping, inspection and maintenance of chimneys.NACS Members work strictly to the NACS Code of Practice 1982 and Code of Conduct for the cleaning of chimneys. On completion of work, NACS Sweeps issue a Certificate of Chimney Sweeping and recommend when future cleaning is necessary.

D Collin Chimney Sweep Ltd can install bird guards and cowls. These are installed to stop birds laying nests in your chimney. If these are not installed birds can lay nests in your chimney and can result in been a hazard as over time the nests can completely block smoke from excessing your chimney.

Power Sweep Report

D Collin Chimney Sweep Ltd uses the latest technology in chimney sweeping, power sweep which the brush head expands to correct size of the flue through centrifugal force. When using the power sweep it was centre itself and there is no surface tension being created in the sweep process as the head adjusts to fit the flue.

Outstanding! I can't recommend Dale Collin too highly. Apart from being prompt and courteous, Dale worked to an incredibly high, methodical and professional standard. Thoroughly cleaned the chimney and left the place in immaculate condition. He's obviously very very good at his profession. Highly recommended.

This is the 4th time i have had dale out to clean my fire+flu and all i can say is Pure professionalism.Phoned yesterday came prompt this morning on time as always.Very polite and knowledgeable about his trade done job in half hour with no mess anywhere.Got my new safety certificate would not use anyone else if you need a chimney sweep this is your man!!!

Dale arrived bang on time the day after we called him about a bird stuck up the chimney. He explained the process then set about the task in hand. He was very thorough, clean and professional. A great job well done, and a pigeon released back to it's owners! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dale again!

Excellent service. Dale knows exactly what he is doing, as we had a problem with our log burner smoking the room. He took complete control, serviced and swept the chimney, cleared the blockage, replaced all the fire bricks and cut them himself perfectly and also replaced the rope door seal. Very clean worker, no mess. Don't go anywhere else, just phone Dale. Perfect job and very nice person, he came out on the same day.

Dale is a polite and knowledgable man who knows his stuff. We needed a chimney sweep quite quickly as we were having building works carried out in the same week. He came out the following afternoon and carried out the job in a professional manner. Carried out smoke tests and ensured the chimney was safe. Full certification was handed to us and even advised on carbon monoxide alarms and where they should be fitted in the room. A1 service. Thanks Dale👍

Dale was excellent from start to finish kept the house lovely and clean while clearing out our chimney which was blocked. He did a really good job and was very reasonable priced would definitely recommend and will be using in the future. Thanks Dale.
