Shackadelic was created in 2011 by Chris, as an evolution of his landscaping practice in response to the demand for creative outdoor spaces. In 2018, after many years of working together, Ed and Pete joined Chris as company directors. We are committed to using sustainable, innovative materials and modern construction methods to create unique and beautifully designed garden rooms.

FAQs Report

Our bespoke shacks are built on site from scratch and take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete, subject to final design. As a guide price, a bespoke shack can range from 1500 - 2500+VAT per sqm subject to the final design. In addition to this, you will need to consider additional costs such as design fees and planning applications if required.

When we decided to have a garden room/music room, I knew what we wanted but had no idea how to get there. Spoke to a number of firms who built standard, off the shelf rooms, but this was a project with a specific spec and an oddly shaped footprint. From start to finish Shackadelic were fantastic - patient, friendly, great attention to detail and we now have a room which is exactly what we wanted and we love it. Shackadelic aren't the cheapest firm but they are by far the best. It was fascinating to watch their team hand build our room from scratch. I am so pleased we asked them to do this work
