Heaton Fold Garden Centre
We are a Bolton Council run facility that is open to the public and also offers work experience for adults with learning disabilities. Sitting in a picturesque valley just on the outskirts of Bolton Town Centre, Heaton Fold Garden Centre has everything you need to create your dream garden. From seasonal bedding plants, perennials, composts and decorative aggregates, to ceramic planters, garden furniture, pots and ornaments.

You can also relax with a drink and a bite to eat in our licensed cafe which serves a range of snacks and light lunches. Our friendly team look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful garden centre. We are proud of the quality of our plants and continue to make improvements to the site to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

We're here to provide advice and inspiration so if you're not sure how to look after your favourite plant or need ideas for that sheltered spot in your garden where nothing seems to grow then just ask one of the team!

Not the best value for money, but a lovely garden centre to visit and always a nice selection of plants. They used to welcome dogs, but sadly no longer. Haven't used the cafe, but seems to be popular.

Great little cafe to sit and enjoy the view of a nearby nature reserve. Nice selection of food and drink for many tastes. My scone and the lemon meringue was yummy.
Spacious layout, well managed service with friendly and efficient staff. Toilets in the building.
Only a quick look around the garden centre as we cycled there. Saw everything I'd be after for the garden whilst perusing.
There's some festive scenes (Nov 2021) and things for the kids at at the moment.
Do pop in the shop whilst you're there for handmade small business goods.

Small but well presented garden centre incorporating a well used cafe. Everything you would expect as well as some more out of the ordinary items not generally available in the more mainstream outlets.
Off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

Great quality, well looked after plants at reasonable prices. A decent cafe on site too. Once a month in summer there is a small artisan market to look around.
