Never turned up, I booked in and spoke on the phone 3 different times about what we needed and booking in dates for a liner, register plate and cowl, agreed on two alternative dates and them needing to come round to size everything up, waited 2 months and never turned up, I had to ring up 2 days before as I thought it could be a covid thing of them being unwell and he said he completely forgot an £800+ job.

Jimmy really knows his stuff. I contacted him by phone and he was so knowledgeable and experienced he was able to tell me about our house from the problem description I gave him - even without inspecting the chimney - including the likely location of our property in the street compared to other properties and the effect this was having. he came to visit x2 days later arrived on time and was able to explain exactly what was required. Would definitely use Jimmy and recommend in future

Jim is an exceptional chimney sweep and all round brilliant guy. He has gone out of his way on several occasions over the years. I have had my chimney sweep and fire service twice now. On the first go I had a problem with the fire brick on the top. My stove is an odd one to find parts for. Jim went out of his way to find the right brick, he then came and fitted it over Christmas and wouldn’t accept any further payments! Every time he comes over my fire looks stunning!! He pays massive attention to detail and even oils my slates, he has been today and it looks so so beautiful! Again no job is

Jimmy's service is second to none!
Not only did he perform the inspection and cleaning of my chimney with no mess or fuss he also cleaned the entire stove, so it looks brand new. He also took the time to explain how to use the fire properly, and also gave very informative maintenance and safety advice. Lastly, he was also the most competitive in price!

I cannot express enough the fantastic and friendly service we got off Jimmy. Having moved into an old house and being wary of our survey report, Jimmy came round and checked everything with our chimney including the outside. He was so patient and explained everything to us in a way we understood and non-patronising.
Jimmy went out of his way to contact us to provide great communication and his services were second to none at a quality price for the sweep and clean as well as getting a fire guard and other bits for us.

Jim and his team installed my stove today. Great job, good comms throughout the process and left the place spot on tidy. I have my own install and maintenance company so I did part of the install myself and Jim was happy to work in with me and advise throughout for best results. I am getting the team to do a stove in another room at my house and am happy to recommend him to my existing business clients too.
