Marsdens Chimney Sweep and Stove Installers are a family run business established over 35 years specialising in stoves + chimney sweeping. It's always recommended to have your chimney swept annually and if so always have the services of a professional who is part of the NACS (national accusation of chimney sweeps) were a full service of the fire and chimney is carried out and a certificate issued after the job is completed.
As stated by The National Associatian Of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) it is recommended that your chimney is professionaly swept once every 12 months, quarterly when in use and before a new appliance is installed. We have a full range of sweeping equipment from standard rods and brushes to the newest most efficient power sweeping methods.
Birds in the wrong location, in particular pigeons and seagulls can become a real nuisance for you. It's not just the mess they make; they can also damage your premises by dislodging roof tiles, blocking guttering and affect your reputation. There are other problems that mean you should adopt bird control measures sooner rather than later.

I recently contacted Marsden Chimney Sweeps to have a no down draft cowl fitted to my chimney pot, I was told there was a three month waiting list due to work load this time of year, Cameron rang me a week later to say he could fit me in, he came on the day he said and did a fantastic job, price was good to, I would highly recommend Cameron and his company for their services to anyone, 5 stars.

I have used Marsdens on two occasions this year. The first was to have two chimneys sweeped and cleaned, and the second was to have a multi fuel burner installed along with a new flue. On both occasions the service and quality of work was first class.

Over many years mum used Wayne to clean the chimney, always polite and friendly, now his son Cameron has taken over but brought his dad along today to sweep and cap off the chimney and remove the log burner because of our upcoming house move. No mess, no worries. Brilliant family firm, first class. Highly recommended

Fantastic service!! Prompt, reliable and extremely helpful. Cameron was a credit to Mardsens' and nothing was too much trouble to him. Excellent service from 2 lovely friendly people who really know their stuff. Removed my Victorian crown chimney pot which was letting water into my fireplace and fitted a new cowl and replaced the register plate for my multi fuel stove. Fantastic jobs! Delighted with the work! Left everything clean and tidy. Have also used them to sweep my chimney. Would highly recommend.

Just had my chimney swept by Cameron and his Dad . Great job done as usual . Very professional,friendly and also very knowledgeable about all aspects of wood burner and safety . Clean and tidy - not a speck of soot left anywhere - which is reassuring given I have cream carpets ! Would highly recommend without hesitation.

We have used Wayne and his dad for the last9/10 years.
We can honestly say that they are so professional and thorough.
They never over charge, are honest and epitomise what customer service should be.
When we moved into the house the person who fitted the wood burner cut so many corners and just basically performed a botched job. Wayne and his dad resolved all our issues at a fair price.
Really don't use anyone else especially if you want an honest, high quality service!
