Solar water heating systems use solar panels (also known as collectors) to collect heat from the sun and use it to heat up water which is stored in a solar hot water cylinder. A boiler or immersion heater can be used as a back-up to heat the water further to reach the temperature you want. If a dedicated solar cylinder is not already in place, then you will need to replace the existing cylinder with a new cylinder with a solar heating coil.

Fantastic job, professional clean and tidy from start to finish.
Fitted a new tank in our airing cupboard and new boiler in the downstairs toilet.Took 3 days.
The down stairs toilet was newly decorated a year before so he took great care working around this and I only need to do small repairs. I would highly recommend. Vincent also has an apprentice working with him who is also very friendly and professional, it was a pleasure having them here.

We used Conduction (UK) Ltd for our Solar Thermal Installation, we would be happy to recommend Conduction Heating to others, Lou in the office was brilliant, great assistance right from first contact, Lou kept us informed by phone call, email and text, fantastic to work work with.
Vin, Rob & Max were on site for 3 days, they were very professional at all times, cleaned up as they went, arrived when they said they would, worked hard each day to get the job finished within time, even with the changes we had to make as we got into it and they kept us informed all the way

We thought we wanted a biomass boiler, so that is why we contacted Vinnie in the first place. We are semi-rural without mains gas. Biomass is Vinnie’s choice of heating at his own house. After coming out and discussing what we already had installed and what we needed, he designed a system for us, and surprisingly not including a biomass boiler as he said it wasn’t suitable for our specific requirements.
We had combi boiler, running from propane cylinders and wanted a wood burning boiler stove, as I have access to a lot of free fire wood. He installed a 500 litre thermal store in our garage
