As a small business, you can be assured of speaking to someone who knows and cares about the product they are selling. Once ordered, your turf will be freshly cut, and can then be collected from our farm, or delivered directly to your home or business.

Services
Our Grade 1 topsoil comes from the best agricultural land and is screened to 10mm, giving a fine sandy soil which is friable and workable even when wet or dry. Suitable for turfing or seeding beds and borders. Our Grade 2 topsoil is a blend of re-claimed topsoils, tends to be a little gritty, and is best suited for turfing on.
Here at RHF Turf Growers, we also stock a wide variety of bark & woodchips to suit any needs. Our Playground Chips are produced from 100% Hardwood making this product both long-lasting and cleaner than bark much. Conforms to EN1176 for use in playareas when used at a depth of 150-300mm. Hardwood chips also deter cats and dogs.
To feed your lawn correctly throughout the year, it is ideal that you apply fertiliser 3 times a year. The first feed being the middle of spring and the last being the start of autumn. The summer feed can be a little bit trickier, fertiliser is not something to be applied on a hot summers day. Bide your time by watching the weather and apply in the cooler temperatures of the evening before it is forecast to rain.
