We recently used A1 for our rear extension and are extremely happy with the results. The builders and project managers were all very hard working and pleasant to work with. Any small problems that we had were very quickly resolved with no issue whatsoever. This is the second time that we have used A1 as their standard of work and efficiency was so good on our loft extension 7 years ago we were very keen to have them back again. Their original quotes for both extensions weren't the cheapest that we had but the quality and speed with which the work was done was well worth the money. I highly recommend

We engaged A1 to build a loft for us. The team they provided has been top notch. Darryl as team lead with his main man Peter makes a very good team. They were able to complete the entire project in under 7 weeks. This has been really impressive. Darryl was really good with communicating the various stages and very detail oriented. There were the usual challenges of coordination, but it was very effectively managed. I would also make a special note of how courteous the entire team has been. All in all very happy to recommend A1 and Darryl's team to anyone looking for building a loft.

I was dreading starting the loft but our A1 Project Manager was absolutely brilliant. They were courteous, helpful with ideas and hoovered up every night! They were so efficient it was hard to keep up with them at times. Even now almost 12 months on they come back if anything crops up that needs attention. I would strongly recommend using A1 to anyone who asks.

A1 have produced a beautiful loft for us. The work of the build team was excellent and overall we are very happy with the build. This would have been a five star review had it not been for a couple of shortcomings. Firstly we had asked for design involvement in the stairs. This didn't happen and I feel A1 as the project management team take responsibility for that. Secondly there were issues with the scaffolding that was left in place for too long.
However having said that the build was done beautifully and we are extremely happy with the results overall. I am happy to recommend them. The team

A1 have a very efficient process and are exceptionally clear at the outset about what's involved and what is and isn't covered in your contract.
I would have liked more of an input into the design side, but it may be my fault for not pushing on this. Some ideas we put into the plans, the builders later told me couldn't be done, so we ended up with something a bit different to what I imagined at the outset. That said, the agreement of the contract, plans and getting the relevant consents was made very straightforward by A1.

I was recommended A1 Lofts and Extensions by a neighbour who had used the company and was thrilled with their new loft extension and the speed / finish achieved. I found the sales process with Ricki Lee very straightforward and honest, with clear documentation and process and a number of visits and consultations. Our Project manager was Rich and he was excellent!! as were Vio and Alex, they were so respectful of our home for that I am so grateful.
All concerned worked so hard over the 6 weeks and nothing was too much trouble.
All the tradesman that were onsite over the 6 weeks were all pleasant, polite and respectful.
We had a couple of issues but everything was dealt with in the most professional manner.
The whole project from start to finish was handled by A1 and we were kept informed throughout the whole process.

A1 built my loft in 2014 and it was a great experience from start to finish. The running of the project was excellent, the team leader was great and kept us informed throughout the build process. We were amazed at how straightforward the build was and how clean and tidy the house was left every day.
Our new loft is fantastic and has added a whole new dynamic to our home. I would thoroughly recommend A1 for a hassle free build.
