All our work conforms to Building Regulations, and all materials used are of the highest standard. We hold 10million cover for Employers liability, and 2million cover for Public and Products liability insurance. It is important to note that all our stairs are made in the workshop, which allows the winding steps to be fixed, before installing, thus making the stairs significantly stronger.
Initially Mike will visit you to discuss your requirements. A written quotation is provided promptly for every job and his personal style is reliable, professional and approachable. If you are not sure of the way forward, Mike will be happy to run through the merits or disadvantages of any approach you may be considering.

Planning permission is not normally required. However, permission is required where you extend or alter the roof space and it exceeds specified limits and conditions.
From the initial 'phone call to MJM, we will arrange a convenient time for Mike to call out and see you. This can be on an evening, if that suits you better. Mike will visit you at the property, and advise on whether a loft conversion is possible, in the first instance. He will listen to what your requirements are, and offer his opinion on what would work well, taking into account the space you have, and the proposed use of the room.

Recently Mike and his team completed a three room loft conversion for us and we are delighted with the outcome. All the team were courteous and professional in their approach as well as being excellent tradesmen.
Nothing was too much trouble and all the work was carried out to the highest specification but costs were managed within budget.
If anyone in the Harrogate District is thinking of a loft conversion, they should seriously consider using this company. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
