In response to the owners I'm going to remove my negative review, and alter to neutral, as I've not been in since their change of ownership so can't currently comment on the level of friendliness or attentiveness of the staff. If I do manage to visit them again I'll be sure to update my review.

I have used Chards recently and have nothing but good things to say. Customer service from all departments was exceptional. From ordering at the counter to taking delivery from the skillful (and careful) driver. Products were exactly as ordered and had no issues. Prices were reasonable and I managed to get everything I wanted in one place. I would mach rather support a local independent supplier.
