The company operates a stand alone demolition service as part of a wider, total in-house operation involving removal, disposal and recycling of waste materials and overall site regeneration. Based in Manchester, the company is well placed to service the vast amount of urban regeneration presently being undertaken in the North-West region and beyond - covering demolition and dismantling across the uk.
The Excavation department operates hand-in-hand with the Company's in-house recycling facility to reduce the need for landfill and quarrying of new materials. From its site in Irlam, Manchester, O'Gara owns and operates a modern fleet of 8 wheeled tipper wagons and an impressive range of plant and attachments, for hire or contract work, to suit your requirements.
Civil Engineering (or Civils for short) works are undertaken by combining our plant and labour resources with our in-house knowledge and experience and then, as the final ingredient, adding our specialist suppliers. This work may be a stand- alone contract or combined with any, or all, of our key disciplines, Demolition, Excavation, Bulk Excavation, Remediation and Recycling Soils and Aggregates.
We have successfully operated a fleet of lorries for over 50 years of Tipper Hire and Grab Hire across Manchester, the North West and across the UK. In doing so we have demonstrated to our clients that our vehicles, drivers, maintenance team and supporting infrastructure know that what is upmost is getting the job done, promptly, without question, without cutting corners and within the guidelines set by the Governing Authorities and the HSE.

If you're looking for a reliable tipper company look elsewhere. The management here are very rude and disrespectful. Jason the supervisor has a very bad attitude, especially towards his members of staff. After being offered a full-time position, I worked here for a few weeks and I was treated like a piece of dirt. They let me go without any reason and had the cheek to ring me back after a few months offering me a job again. No respect or appreciation from any of the management team. Very disappointed!

I've just returned from a shopping trip in Altrincham. The place is hectic as there's some demolition work going on by this company, O'Gara Demolition. I have to say they had some huge impressive trucks all over but instead of hogging the roads in and around the market area of town their drivers were polite, courteous and seemed very experienced to keep the traffic following and disruption to an absolute minimum. Makes a change to see truck drivers with a professional attitude and smile on their faces!!!!
