Had an issue with our heating and hot water, gave everything a try. John Andrew’s turned up very pleasant and profession chap fixed it two seconds was a simple dislodged timer. Answered any question we had for any future issue, Didn’t try and drag things out or make up anything to rip you off. Highly recommend

Following on from my previous experience with this company, I asked them back to install a hot and cold isolator valve and reduce a new waste pipe down from 110mm ready for a kitchen 2nd fix installation.
The quote was over £500 which I thought was extortionate but as I needed it done in time for a kitchen installation, I went ahead. The work was so easy and all done within an hour. The engineer left and just checking the work, I saw water leaking all over the new floor. I had to call the engineer back to sort it out. So lucky I'd insisted installing an access point. Otherwise the joints would

Cannot praise these guys highly enough, I was let down by British Gas (for the last time) so I thought I would speak to AC Wilgar as they are local & my sister has always raved about their service. 1 week later and my boiler is back up and running plus my hot water is hotter than ever. I've now taken out our their monthly home/boiler cover scheme ('Service Club' membership?) so now I know I'm in good hands going forward in case anything goes wrong. Thanks for the post about unfreezing your plastic pipe. I had a shower this morning. No problem. 1 hr later WB boiler showing EA error and no heating. Bit of a panic cos most places closed because of the snow and reset didn't work. Then saw your post. Several six inch sticks of ice came out when I poured boiling water over the outside pipe. Don't faff around with microwave hot water bottles, use the kettle like the man in the picture. AC Wilgar you have been a lifesaver!

I would definitely recommend Joe Wiggett who came to fit 3 new radiators. He arrived on time at 8am. I was impressed by his work ethic, he was extremely thorough, the job was scheduled for the morning only but due to unexpected problems he stayed until the job was complete. He was conscientious, polite and worked methodically, leaving my house tidy and thankfully WARM!

We have used this company many times over the years, once again they came to our rescue when in need. We had several quotes for the work required, and although Wilgar's were always going to be our favourite (we would gladly have paid a bit more given the service we have received in the past). They came in much cheaper than our other two quotes, and provided a higher spec boiler, including a powerflush which the others had left out! As usual our house was left cleaner when they finished than when they started :-)

I have used Wilgar for 14+ years for a number of flats that I own. Their work has always been of good quality and when I have an urgent problem they try to come out to me as a matter of urgency.
I find their prices reasonable for the work that they do. Simon R, Paul C are both particularly good engineers.

From survey to completion, an entirely professional experience. Paul turned up exactly on time (We even had a text to let us know he was on the way), and when he arrived he was courteous, professional, and more importantly knowledgeable! He produced a "Quotation" on his iPad after consulting with us in detail what our requirements were, and sent it electronically before he left our home.
Once we accepted the quote, the same level of service was maintained from start to finish of the installation. We cannot rate this company highly enough. Simply first class!!

It was during the cold snap, just seven days before Christmas, that our boiler stopped working. We were concerned for the health of my vulnerable 92 year old mother (who lives with us) and called British Gas, our service provider. They arrived the next day, condemned the 20 year old boiler, recommended we replace it with a modern, efficient Worcester Bosch boiler, and left.
