We're a small, family run bespoke joinery company suppling and fitting wooden windows and doors across the UK, but mostly Yorkshire. The company was incorporated in 2008 by Robert Bailey-Hague. Robert is the Managing Director and founder of the business who oversees everything with the help of his partner Susannah.
A sustainable, lifelong and beautiful choice for every home our wooden windows come with double glazing as standard and with a factory finished paint or stain which is fully guaranteed with minimal maintenance. We have a small project team who will look after your order from start to finish and you can have an input at every stage.
Bailey Hague Joinery undertake a variety of hardwood flooring projects specialising in high-end boutique hotel work across the UK. Previous contracts include the Grand Hotel in York, Studley Castle Hotel and Grantley Hall Hotel, Ripon. Our house is an old building with large, full-height arched window openings.
My partner had a good idea what he wanted to achieve in terms of the look and function of the windows/frames. Rob and the team used their expertise to help us come up with a workable solution.
Rob kept us informed at every stage of the construction process and we were even sent photos of the frames being constructed in the workshop.
Once on site, the team (Andy, Nathan and co) were conscientious, coordinated and professional. They took pride in getting the job right, and it definitely shows in the finished article.

Rob and his team did an excellent job of renovating our porch – replacing the rotten door and windows with a brand-new wooden door and double glazed window units. We are very pleased with the result - it looks very smart!
Rob kept the design in the style of the original, but was also good at suggesting improvements and new features, e.g. a new ceiling with insulation. The installation itself was efficient, thorough and very tidy.

Bailey Hauge have replaced most of the sliding sash windows and external doors in our house. Their price was competitive but this wasn't at the expense of the quality of service they provided. From the initial visits through to installation they were easy to get hold of and responded to questions and changes quickly. We are really pleased with the doors and windows now they are installed. They look great, work well and the house feels much warmer. Happy to recommend Bailey Hauge!

Rob and his team provided 3 sets of french doors for our new kitchen and living room. They look fantastic and we couldn't be happier. We considered Crittall from elsewhere but we're put off by the cost and thermal properties so decided on timber and have no regrets.
Rob was significantly better value than the national company from whom we also received quotes. We were welcomed to his workshop to see his work and Rob visited our home to discuss styling, size and bespoke colours to match our existing scheme. Bailey Hague Joinery have been fantastic from start to finish with our project, the house was derelict and hadn't been lived in for three years, from sending drawings to the planning officer to making the heritage standard windows and doors for our property. The quality of the windows is outstanding along with the spray paint finish, we have had so many compliments on the bespoke front door.
Jak and Andy fitted the windows and doors, they were professional at all times, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them, they are true craftsman at their work, their attention to detail is fantastic

Bailey Hague have transformed our dining room with a fantastic set of double doors with side panels. The guys spent a lot over time ensuring that every detail was just right during the installation whilst maintaining a clean and tidy work area. The quality is simply outstanding! Great work.

Very pleased with our new French windows. Rob was pro-active and helpful in advising us of everything from wood choice, frame design and finish to the direction of opening, rather than merely replicating the less-good design we were seeking to replace. Installation was quick and very tidy - colleagues Andy and Paul started work very promptly, took out the old windows with negligible fuss and mess, and left everything immaculately clean. We'd hardly have known they'd been here except for the transformation in the windows and doors. Great job, highly recommended, we'll certainly be back in the future

Bailey Hague Joinery did a brilliant job with our french doors, replacing a very tired, draughty and insecure door with two fantastically-made and great-looking doors.
The quality of the doors is great in every way. The joinery is spot on, the painting to a high standard and all the hinges and handles are great quality and smooth operating.
The fitting went better than I expected. The guys were friendly, thorough and tidy. You could tell they took pride in their work and went to every effort to make sure everything was done correctly. Inside and out were left neat and tidy before they left.
