Graham is the man behind Dartmoor Tree Surgeons. He set up the company in 1987 after completing his BSc Hons at University College, London. After years on the tools himself he has now hung up his harness and saw and opted to continue his career as an expert arboricultural consultant alongside running the day to day elements of the company.
Arrow joined the company in 2012 having worked as a self-employed sub-contractor for us in previous years. A highly experienced climber with good man management skills, he has become a real asset to the company. With extensive experience as a climber in the arboricultural world and a former instructor at Bicton College, he brings his enthusiasm and training skills to our company.
Recently completed the online degree in Arboriculture. Sam joined our team in January of 2016 as a newly qualified tree surgeon and has now gained considerable experience, becoming a team leader and showing great leaadership skills. His many years as a mechanic has made him invaluable to the company.

Had a truly massive eucalyptus tree (around 120' high) taken down two days ago by these fantastic people. It was fascinating to watch their professionalism (not to mention the bravery of the climber). The team was friendly and helpful – even stopping to assist in unloading a new kitchen being delivered to the nearest neighbour, and they cleared up all the resulting detritus. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending them.

Friday the 13th December what could go wrong? !! well an old and large Oak tree the other side of our rear fence split at its base in last weeks windy weather. Dartmoor Tree Surgeons responded within hours to check and advised that due to its condition and precarious position it would have to be felled. The tree has now been made safe by a clearly professional team who carried out the work leaving our garden safe and tidy. Highly recommended.
