We are based in Bedford, located on the East side of town. 4 Counties is a friendly family run business, handed down from father to son. We are passionate about providing our customers with doors that guarantee safety, security, reliability and convenience in their homes. We offer a comprehensive professional service, from the initial enquiry, through surveying, installation, and even after-sales and servicing.
These are non-insulated outward opening, available in steel, timber, and GRP (Glass Re-inforced Plastic) in a variety of designs. There are two types of door gear, canopy (for manual doors) and retractable (for doors to be automated). They can fit to a timber sub-frame or a factory pre-hung steel surround.
We have the facilities to transform your garage into one double garage with a double width door. By removing the centre pier and installing a Steel lintel that spans the distance across the two openings, giving you much more room and a wider door. With plenty of designs and finishes to choose from you will wish you had converted sooner.

I met Daniel the proprietor through my best mate and neighbour who had used him on two previous properties.
I’ve had a Hormann door for 15 years and the associated opener. I recently renovated my home and everything went from brown to grey. I wanted to update my door colour but didn’t feel it the need or justification to buy a new door and opener.
Daniel presented a range of options. One of which was removing the door and having it sprayed professionally (like a car) to match the anthracite.
He removed the door on Thursday and it was sprayed, refitted and serviced by the following Thursday

Daniel from the beginning was very helpful he arrived on time and advised me on my options and choices after I had decided he quoted quickly and very reasonable. On the install itself Daniel was very clean and tidy, workmanship is neat and explained all the instructions in a fun way with my little boys too “open sesame 😂”.

Fantastic service all round from all staff. Daniel certainly knows what he is taking about and nothing was too much trouble. I bought and had fitted two electric sectional single garage doors, superb quality, quiet and look great. Easy process from start to finish. Had our double garage changed to a single large electronic door. They removed old brick work, installed new steel and repaired weatherboarding. Door looks great, well insulated and very quiet when operated so no issues opening it early or late at night. Had light sensor also fitted which operates as we open door. Tidy workers and completed in agreed timeframe
