For many people, the individuality of each granite kitchen worktop is what makes their purchase so special. Often our clients will take time out to visit suppliers to pick between individual granite slabs for their kitchen worktops, especially for stones with high variation.
Marble is a hard crystalline metamorphic form of limestone. When limestone is put under immense heat and pressure the calcite's melt and larger crystals are formed leaving us with Marble. Marble comes in various colours, formations and patterns and its individuality can create a huge statement when used for your kitchen worktops.
The Quartz material is engineered with the same quartz crystals found in quartzite, but a man-made process binds the crystal with resins, pigments, and other materials such as bits of glass. Cooker splashbacks and upstands will complete the worktop whilst also providing protection of your cooking area. Upstands are usually 100mm high but can be made to the size of your choice. The wall area between the worktop and top cabinets can be completely covered as they act as a great alternative to tiles.
