I am a freelance Interior Designer with twenty years experience in the design industry, the last ten years spent in Interior Design working on projects of all sizes and budgets. I have a BA(Hons) degree in Textile Design and a passion for colour, texture and pattern. I love to create warm, relaxing interiors with a contemporary yet timeless appeal.
Whether it's a simple blind, a pair of curtains or a complete room scheme including soft furnishings, furniture, lighting, accessories and flooring, I can provide interior design ideas and advice for projects of all sizes and budgets. This would involve all necessary home consultations, your final scheme with samples and design board if required, and a comprehensive list of all products, suppliers and pricing.

Working with Jo was an absolute pleasure, not only has she provided us with a holiday home that we are very proud of and one that allows us to maximise our earning potential, but her lovely nature, responsiveness and her efforts to go above and beyond to make sure we got the intended results were invaluable. She worked brilliantly around our budget and to top it off, she’s an outstanding stylist; this part of the process is very much worth investing in, especially for the holiday let, it took the design to another level and made the house a home.

Jo is warm, friendly and professional. She has a great eye, can really see the potential in a space and was really helpful. I had lots of ideas, and quite a challenging space to work with, and having time with Jo helped me move into action. She helped me to focus, created a beautiful mood board, and gave me a clearer sense of direction. Jo also gave me great suggestions of a few simple things that I could do on my own (as I wanted to do quite a lot of it myself), and some excellent contacts for the bigger jobs. We used Jo on a large project converting an already converted barn into two separate holiday let's.
Jo was a real God send, using an interior designer like Jo takes a lot of the hassle out of a renovation project.
She helps you out every step of the way, helping you choose colour and fabric schemes. Jo will source reliable tradesman to then undertake the work, decorating and curtain fitting etc.
Jo will also source furniture and fittings to compliment the project.
I would recommend Jo on any project.

I engaged Joanne to smarten up my 'man cave' stone terraced cottage in the Peninne foothills before putting it up for sale. Harmony Decor in Marple recommended Joanne to us. I felt immediately she understood the look we wanted. She really listened and cleverly incorporated the items we wanted to keep and then gave our bedroom and landing a completely new look. We are absolutely delighted with our very functional but totally luxurious rooms.
Joanne was able to source fabrics, carpets, wallpapers, lamps and mirrors etc. which really enhanced the look. I wouldn’t have known where to start and probably would have gone for high street products which lacked originality and interest. This saved me hours if not more of my

I decided to enlist the help of an interior designer to give my home a style makeover after watching several house and home television programs and seeing for myself what could be achieved with the right help. At one time I would never have imagined myself using the services of an interior designer as in the past I have always managed to put together a room myself.
