Our fireplace has been finished and it's to a very high standard. Everything quoted was covered plus other bits that turned out to be needed. All included to make a very happy customer. Ashley is a credit to you.

I would highly recommended this company, I took my Mum who is in her 80’s and suffering from dementia to choose an electric fire and they were very helpful and considerate of her needs. The young man who came to fit the fire did an excellent job, removed the old gas fire, installed the new one and left everything clean and tidy. He did… particularly well as my Mum wanted to retain her original fire surround which he had to drill through to accommodate the wiring. It was so well done you can hardly see the wiring. He then masked off the buttons she wouldn’t need to use on the

Martin James Fireplaces was recommended to me by a gas engineer from a utility company. Buying my gas fire from MJF was the best thing I could have done. A local company just down the road, their service is tailored to the customer from start to finish. MJF is a family firm well established in the town and has been going for almost half a century. The owner came to see me to discuss my requirements and I chose the perfect fire for my living room. All the staff are friendly and professional and the gas fitter was very thorough and efficient, and made me laugh as well! I would not hesitate to recommend

Absolutely over the moon with our purchase.. literally from start to finish the service was fantastic and the fire itself doesn’t disappoint. It can be controlled via you’re phone app and is so nice but most importantly throws out some fantastic heat!! Looks lovely on without the heat for show too... win win

We recently decided to replace our coal and log burner for a new gas fire and surround and found Martin James fireplaces on a google search. We found the staff at the showroom very helpful and friendly, and at the same time we were allowed to look around and decide in our own time the best fire and fireplace for us - and there was always someone there when we needed help or advice.
On the day of installation the two fitters (Del and Preston) arrived and worked swiftly to remove the old coal burner and install the new fireplace. What we really liked, was that the fitters took time to think through

I would definitely recommend Martin James Fireplaces. They have a huge selection of all types of fires and fire surrounds. Andy was suburb in helping us with our choice with his excellent knowledge but most of all his customer service. Andy and Preston came to fit the fire and I have to say they did an an outstanding job always staying focused and… professional, a really pleasant team who only aim to keep the customer satisfied. Leanne in the office is very helpful too she wants the customer to be happy. After sales service is also fantastic in helping to find the best looking accessories

Had a gas fire fitted today, 8 days after visiting the showroom !!! From start to finish an excellent service. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The fitter was on time (Paul) and did a first class job with no mess. He made sure I knew how to operate the fire on completion. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Visited here to look at marble fireplaces. We were helped by a very friendly man, the owner maybe, who was very helpful and gave us good advice. We took measurements but unfortunately the fireplace we liked was too big for where we wanted it to fit 😢. We'll worth a visit, they have some lovely fireplace's, gas and electric fires, log burners

I cannot recommend this company enough. The staff from start to finish have dealt with every need. From helping to choose to the installation. Lynn helped us make the perfect choice . Martin came to do a survey as I was worried about the size he put my fears to rest. Andy and Ellis came to do the installation. They did a high quality professional job. Everything was left perfect.
