A1 Electrical Contractors Midlands
Based in Stoke-on-Trent, A1 Electrical is a team of two local electricians, Lee and Craig, covering Staffordshire and Cheshire. We have been trading for over fifteen years and have plenty of knowledge and experience to complete any electrical work you require. Our aim is to give quality work at competitive prices; we take on all kinds of electrical work from adding lights and sockets to full rewires.

We also do plenty of other electrical work too for example, electrical installation condition reports, fuseboard replacements, part and full rewires, showers and cookers. A1 provide full electrical testing and inspections for all domestic, commercial and industrial customers. At A1 we really do care and take pride in our work.

We do our very best to please our customers and maintain high standards of reliability and service. We always turn up as arranged. We pride ourselves on 'diary management' so that work is carried out on consecutive days unlike other companies who may stop and start, causing unnecessary delays.
Services
Before we start we would quote on this work. On this visit we would do a preliminary check of your wiring to check that there are no major faults on the wiring. The last thing you want to do is install a new fuseboard on old or faulty wiring. It could be dangerous and could trip out. We always fully test the installation on completion of works and issue an NICEIC installation test certificate.
Every house is different so when we come to quote we remove some light switches and sockets to see if cables can be pulled through the plaster and give an immediate idea of how much disruption there would be. If cable does not pull through we can come up with other ideas such as running cables in discrete places like airing cupboards.
A1 electrical are based in Stoke-on-Trent and specialise in Inspection and testing to produce an " Electrical condition report", also referred to as a "Electrical Safety Certificate", "Electrical Condition Certificate", "periodic inspection report" or "Landlords Certificate". If you are buying a property it is prudent (and in some cases a mortgage requirement) to have an electrical safety check before your purchase.
We install two kinds of fire alarm system. A domestic system for single dwellings based on recommendations of BS5839 part 6 and a full fire alarm system for places such as public buildings and HMOs based on BS5839 Part 1. The Part 6 systems is intended for domestic dwellings and includes interlinked mains powered smoke alarms with battery backup, with recommended heat alarms in the kitchen.

I had a complete rewiring done to a high standard within 2 days. Lee and Craig arrived at the time agreed and prior to starting the work did another walk through of the property to make sure I was happy with where all the sockets and light switches were to be placed. When the work was finished they cleaned up, vacuumed the carpets and mopped the living room floor. Everyone was very professional and friendly, and very competitive pricing
I Highly recommend them and would use them again in future.
