Middleton Hall is a truly unique mansion house draped in a rich history that's immediately tangible from the moment you arrive. Every inch of it seems to have a story to tell as its ornate extravagance invites you in. The first documented history of the land on which Middleton Hall now sits dates back to 1107 and to the De Muschamp family.
This private detached 5/6 bedroomed dwelling with outstanding views out to sea, was designed for a private client and located close to the beach to maximise the use of the area, built in traditional natural local stone and render with natural slate roof. The dwelling is located within extensive grounds, with a traditional ground and first floor accommodation with an overall floor area of just over 600 sqm - (6,457 sqft) on 2 floors.
Middleton Hall - Summer House was created from the original Game Larder to Middleton Estate the original building being converted and extended to provide a 1 bedroomed "week-end" retreat. The property has been extensively re-built to current Building Regulations standards together with an added lounge entrance cloaks/WC and an internal staircase passing through the three floors to an interesting bathroom on the second floor.
Lake Cottage stands in the grounds of Middleton Hall, overlooking one of two lakes and has been extensively renovated, altered and extended to provide a three bedroomed single storey detached stone-built estate cottage.
