Services
A faulty boiler or central heating system can result in your home feeling cold, impact your hot water supply, and in some cases could pose the more serious risk to you and your family of carbon monoxide poisoning. If your boiler isn't working as it should be, our Wakefield-based team are ready to take your call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Powerflushing is essentially a deep, comprehensive clean of your radiators and central heating system, using powerful chemicals to flush out the sludge, rust and any other debris that may have settled over time in your radiators, pipes and boiler. Powerflushing is recommended for all radiators unless your radiators are especially old; for example, if you've moved into a property where the radiators were installed in the 1940s or 50s.

Please think twice about using this company if you require home emergency assistance and your Home Emergency Provider decides to send them. We had a fault with our Ideal Logic Boiler with regards to total pressure loss and an F1 fault display showing up on our boiler one evening. We phoned our Home emergency provider immediately when our boiler would not fire up and were told that Plumbcare would attend that evening. We then got a call from Plumbcare saying that they had no heating engineers in our area that evening and somebody would attend our property the next day. However we wanted a rough

Plumbcare visited my property twice due to a fault with my boiler. They were engaged by my home emergency insurance to assess and repair. During the first visit the fault was intermittent, and the engineer was unable to identify the fault with any certainty. He made a minor repair and was very courteous.
Unfortunately the problem persisted and become permanent. A second engineer visited. This one was appalling. He tried to flannel us with a load of rubbish about thin pipes and just kept referring to the age of the boiler. Despite the boiler showing a fault he refused to repair stating "It's not

Very quick response to initial emergency call out (made on a Friday and booked for a Sunday) but unable to repair under insurance. I then called a few times to get a quote for private work, which was very reasonable, and book the repair. The final repair itself was excellent and great service from the plumber. Overall it took a week to resolve and I needed to make a couple of calls to chase the quote and if parts had been ordered but generally a good job.

Rated this contractor 1 star as it was the lowest that could be given, the reason for this is that I made an appointment in September for them to visit my property on the 6th October to service my gas boiler between 8am and 4pm, as they had not arrived by 3.15pm I contacted them to enquire what was happening to be told they would not be coming as the engineer was off sick, they said they had tried to ring me but I know this was a lie as there was someone in the house all day waiting, they offered .e another appointment for the 18th October which was not suitable so I asked for a refund so I had

The frost started and our boiler broke down, no warm water, nor heating. A few days very cold, but the Plumbcare turned up. Th engineers managed to install a new boiler within a few hours. A good job; boiler, pipes, etc. It required a call to receive the invoice and Warranty Report, as nothing was sent after 3 weeks. An important detail regarding the insurance.
