Barrie deals with all of the on-site installation, renovation and repair of timber sash windows. Melissa manages client relationships, co-ordinates daily activities, responsible for marketing and book-keeping. When you call the SashWise office, Melissa will likely be the first person you speak to. Tim is responsible for the on-site installation, renovation and repair of timber sash windows.
We offer a range of services, from draught-proofing, servicing to full restoration and new double glazed sashes. Please note that we have a minimum policy of two windows per job for any service. We will completely and sympathetically restore the windows, so they will look like new without losing any original features.
Remember how good your windows used to look? Well we can fully restore your original timber sash windows back to their former glory. As well as fully draught-proofing the windows, we get them working properly again. We can make double glazed hardwood timber sash windows to fit within your original box sash frame. New hardwood double glazing will increase the thermal performance of your sash windows and reduce noise pollution while maintaining the traditional character of your property. Replacing the sashes without replacing the boxes is a more cost-effective solution and less disruptive than replacing the whole window.
If you wish to reinstate traditional sash windows into your property, whether they are beyond repair or have previously replaced with non-timber or casement windows. We can supply and fit new hardwood sash boxes complete with double glazed sash windows that replicate the originals. A double glazed sash will provide improved thermal performance, will retain heat and reduce noise levels.
