Oberlanders is a multi-award winning Architectural Practice with extensive experience in the education, healthcare, bio-technology, scientific, residential, retail and sports and leisure sectors. Established in Edinburgh in 1983 by Jack Oberlander and David Lawson, we have grown steadily and now have studios in Edinburgh, Oxford, Ardgay and Galashiels.
We are committed to contextual, timeless, inspiring and simple, elegant design solutions which are also technically competent, prudent, practical and deliverable. We handle a broad variety of complex projects, from our largest to date with a value in excess of 120m, to projects of 500,000 and less.
We work collaboratively with clients, engineers and others, believing that our projects are enhanced through multi-discipline integration of design and construction. We have extensive experience of working with, and for, national contractors and developers and of team working on framework commissions for local and national public authorities.
