I am a lifelong admirer of nature and the outdoors and have always had a keen interest in the natural world around me. I studied photographic and visual studies at UEA, learning skills in composition and visual structure which I apply when designing and working on gardens. After university I worked for the Broads Authority as an assistant countryside ranger, helping to conserve and maintain the national park.

I specialise in soft landscaping - the use of plants to create beautiful environments. I always take on board the individual needs of the client for their garden. You may already have plenty of ideas of your own, or none at all. I will work to any ideas and plans you may have, whilst suggesting improvements where necessary.

As an RHS qualified garden designer, I am passionate about turning blank canvases into living gardens. Firstly i will listen to your specific requirements. Then I will survey your garden in terms of measurements, levels, soil type and aspect, and produce a plan to satisfy your needs. I will work as closely as you wish to your plans if you have plenty, or you can leave all the planning to me if that works better with you.
