I’ve been using CP&H for about four years now. Last job: replacement of a combination boiler. We always agree on a fixed quote before the job is done, Mr Taylor then invariably shows up bang on time, and starts right away, literally flying from one corner of the house to the other (not to make believe he’s busy-busy but getting the job done, with solid knowledge of and experience in what he is doing, and the right tool for every task). All appropriate paper work (invoice, certificates, registering for manufacturer’s insurance, etc.) done fast and neatly. Very friendly as well. I can’t really

Get your appointment in writing!! Booked an appointment via the phone for a tap installation on 28th October I believed. Plumber turned up on 18th October and I obviously was not in. He then charged me for his hour of labour despite writing on the note he was only waited 35mins and did not try to call during that time to say he was there. He had rang 55mins earlier but I was at work and had yet to listen to my message during what he claimed was the appointment time. The appointment was never sent in writing to me and I signed no contract nor does his website say missed appointments are charged
