Ansell and Bailey (A&B) were appointed to design the new Emergency Department (ED) and adjacent assessment unit for The Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust (RFL) while maintaining a live service throughout the works. Existing facilities within the site were inadequate and did not allow for the significantly increased number of patient flow expected over the next 10 years.

The new academic biochemistry unit provides state of the art facilities that are essential for the Royal Marsden to be able to continue its pioneering work into breast cancer treatment. The new unit will impacts the lives of breast cancer patients around the world and sets a benchmark for global breast cancer treatment.
Logan Construction and Ansell and Bailey have completed a beautiful design and build extenion for the Krishna Avanti Primary School in Harrow, London. The construction is timber frame and timber clad with a green roof and exemplar daylighting throughout creating a wonderful teaching environment. The extension is the final phase of a courtyard arrangment, with the Hindu temple as the focus in the centre.
